S/4 Live

Browse any live S/4 entity from inside FSA — no screen to build first.

What it needs

• An FSA tenant where you have admin access to Extensions.
• One install link, pasted once. No deployment on your side.
• The connectivity engine, deployed on your own SAP BTP subaccount.
• An S/4 system exposing the relevant OData services — V2 or V4 — reachable from that engine via SAP Cloud Connector or a Communication Arrangement.

Installing

Paste this into Foundational Services → Extensions in FSA, together with your licence key. The full flow is on the install page.

Getting a first result

1. 1

   Open it and pick a service

   The list is discovered from your own system, not shipped by us — if a service is not there, it is not exposed to your engine yet.

   Pick an entity set, then fields

   Field lists come from the service's own metadata, so they are never a stale copy of a spreadsheet somebody maintained.

3. 3

   Read one record by key

   The key fields show one-click example values. Click one and it fills the field with exactly the form that service accepts, then fetches.

4. 4

   Then filter a list

   Filters and paging work over live data. Nothing is copied into FSA at any point.
