Attachment Renamer

Rename attachments in bulk by pattern — with a history you can actually undo.

What it needs

• An FSA tenant where you have admin access to Extensions.
• One install link, pasted once. No deployment on your side.
• No engine — it reads and writes FSA attachments only.

Installing

Getting a first result

1. 1

   Filter to what you mean to change

   By object code, type, creator or the record you have open. Renaming the right forty files starts with listing exactly those forty.

2. 2

   Build the pattern

   Placeholders for names and descriptions, or find-and-replace when that is closer to what you want. Save it as a preset if it will recur.

3. 3

   Check the warnings, then run

   Collisions and changed file extensions are flagged before anything happens.

4. 4

   Keep the batch

   Every run is recorded and any past batch can be reverted — not just the last one.
