About your license
Your EasyScreenViewer license is a signed token that tells our extension which features your tenant is entitled to and when your contract ends. It is bound to your FSM tenant — it cannot be shared or moved to a different tenant.

What's in the license#
The license encodes:
- Your FSM tenant's accountId — so the license only works on the tenant it was issued for.
- Your entitlements — which screen types you bought (Standard, UDO, SAP, Custom).
- An expiry date — when your contract ends.
- A unique license ID — used for support lookup and, if ever needed, revocation.
The license is signed with our private key. Any change to its contents breaks the signature and our backend will reject it.
How features get enabled#
Every time EasyScreenViewer loads inside FSM Shell, it sends your license and tenant accountId to our validation endpoint. The endpoint:
- Verifies the signature.
- Confirms the license was issued for your tenant.
- Confirms the contract hasn't expired.
- Returns the list of entitled screen types.
The extension caches that result for one hour, so subsequent loads inside Shell don't re-validate. If our service is briefly unreachable, the cached verdict is reused for up to 24 hours before the extension fails closed.
How expiry works#
Contracts have an absolute end date. Once the date passes, our endpoint starts returning expired and EasyScreenViewer shows a blocking modal asking you to renew. Changing the date on your computer has no effect — validation is server-side.
To renew, contact usbefore your contract ends. We'll issue a fresh license; you paste the new key in the same spot.
What if my license is leaked or shared?#
Licenses are bound to your tenant's accountId. If someone tries to use your license on a different tenant, validation fails — they see a blocking modal, not your data. Your tenant is unaffected.
If you suspect your license has leaked and want it rotated, contact us. We'll revoke the old key (it stops working within an hour) and issue a new one.
Lost your license email?#
Email us from an address associated with your purchase. We can re-send the same license — no need to reissue.
